maybe they want to do a jv first to see how corporate technical teams work together. I think ADI will be a takeout target INTC/TI/Siemens all candidates. The tooling software real time operating systems board level development for multiprocessor is a new business for INTC. The world of dsp relates to analog to digital signal conversion ie translates the real world into the language of computers. With the increasing integration of machine and computer the mixed analog dsp cpu is where the big action will be going forward. May want to take a look at the board or COTS level builders as they will play a major role in systems operation for running factories 3G basestations and other large complex motor computer integration Regards Norden
