Thanks for the great post but let me clarify my concerns about CEO.

First, why did he tell CNBC that he thought his PE was high? It was about the dumbest thing he could have said given the great predictability you have pointed out in earnings and the conservative bent behind the business plan, which I like a lot. The PE is NOT high and the fact that he said this is absolutely unbelievable.

Second, how come two years ago the stock was in the 40's and even before the recent plunge was still only in the 40's? Why doesn't the market see SE in the right light? Thousands of other companies seem to be able to get the message across but not SE.

Maybe SE needs a CEO who can perform the 1/2 of job related to the shareholders which this CEO has not a clue about. I intend to write the Directors of Sterling and ask them to ask the CEO why in heavens name he made such an obtuse remark, and what is going to be done about this disaster. If they can't find a decent CEO then they should sell the company.

Sorry if I sound angry, but I am angry. The business area SE is in is so exciting that it amazes me that the CEO has done such a pathetic job harvesting the results of the people who actually do the real work at SE.
