What pure unadulterated hogwash. Buffett wouldn't be stupid enough to buy all that silver, watch it run up as high as it went, and then sell the whole shabang just breaking even. At some point a real shortage panic will happen, though Kaplan may well be right in stating that a sell-stop pullback may cause the price to plummet in the short-term.
