The release: Misonix Settles Liposuction Technology Patent Dispute FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (Dow Jones)--Misonix Inc. (MSON) settled a patent dispute over a liposuction technology, reinstituting an agreement that pays two inventors a royalty on certain revenue. In a press release, Misonix said it reached the settlement with two unnamed individuals, who with Misonix' founder are inventors of a liposuction method and apparatus. Misonix said the settlement provided for the reconfirmation of agreements that pay the two inventors a 5% royalty on revenues covered, including those received from the MDA License.
