Jim, You are almost right on MU. Do you remember when it was $95 and you said it was going to $170? Obviously with good reason. The $16 came after that. If they lose even more than the half a billion dollars they lost this year every year, the stock has to go up, right? <G> Especially with $100 million a year in debt service and no profitable product on the horizon and $1 1/2 billion in spending needed to de-obsolete their capacity.

Now, try to quote me straight. I said MU was going to $6. I made the temporary mistake of thinking that a co. on the verge of bankruptcy might someday be correctly priced in this tulipmania. The temporary mistake gets fixed in the long run and I coin profits in the meantime.

BTW, you missed hundreds of tech stocks on which I bought puts and made lots of money. And just as many non-tech stocks. Citicorp was one of the all-time winners. MU was and is a huge winner. It is the gift that keeps on giving. The suckers keep buying for no reason and then it collapses and I take my puts to the IRS window. It isn't as good as Picturetel, yet, but it could get there.
