dave,

"I have been very busy on other fronts. It looks like a call credit spread on OEX could return a good percentage between here and exp"

I see that you have been spending time with Anthony playing from the Dark side of the Shorts. Not a waste of time at all, an excellent teacher and trader. His thread one of the better on SI.

OEX 617.67

OEYBF (Feb 630C) 6 1/2-6 5/8
OEYBG (Feb 635C) 4 1/2-4 5/8
OEYBH (Feb 640C) 3- 3 1/8
OEYBI (Feb 645C) 2- 2 1/8
OEYBJ (Feb 650C) 1 5/16- 1 3/8
OEYBK (Feb 655C) 7/8- 15/16
OEYBL (Feb 660C) 9/16- 5/8
OEYBM (Feb 665C) 5/16- 7/16

Time to exp. = 10 days
Put-Call Ratio last week 126/100 (rising)
VIX index last week 30.47 (rising)

Ten days till exp. still a lot of time maybe with volatility increasing. I do like the 650/660 @ 3/4 for a good safety risk play (return 7.5% - comish) and would be more aggresive towards the end of the week if market remains weak. If OEX doesn't rally over 630 would probably look at 645/650. Will post if entered.

Good Trading

Dave
