Actually the check would be generated by CheckFree in this case. Bank One's bill pay is not representative of the most optimal way CheckFree's Bill Pay System can work. My Web Based Bill Pay (NFCU) works just like it does in Quicken.

CheckFree's Portal agreement will give CheckFree more control in how Bill Pay is presentment to consumers. Even though Portal Bill Pay may (or may not) be co-branded by the portal and the bank, the way the Portal Bill Pay works and is presented to the consumer will be the same for all consumers no matter where they bank.
