To Mike: As always, your post is thoughtful and raises some thoughts in reply. And MSFT is in the middle. As a long time Sun Micro investor - for the fat server money machine - I of course follow Java and Jini closely too. And as a Qualcomm investor I find the joint venture with MSFT as a potential problem not only because of MSFT's lion track record but because Palm Pilot is far and away the leader in PDA and yet I see Java as the future for hand held appliances. And of course, George Gilder has been writing for years that the wireless phone will be the personal computer of choice in the future - using access , probably through the internet, to the fat server as the engine of webtone. Not sure how Citrix fits in all that. You do. Why and how? Chaz
