My new laptop came pre-installed w/ win 98. When I buy my next desktop from DELL, it will undoubtedly come similarly configured. The Office Pro Suite was something like $197, nominal cost in my view. The ease of use among all components is remarkable and seamless. I am the classic, "fat, happy and stupid" buyer, why would I change my buying habits? Some quasi-freeware only has the potential to cause me problems. I don't need a new software solution in my life. Time is simple too valuable to go off experimenting w/ some guy's MSFT copy. My wife already thinks I spend too much time on the computer as it is. "NT 5.0 is in trouble..."?, Uh oh, now there is something to lose sleep over.
