It will be difficult to make sense out of the merger until we know the financial condition of AES. To offer sig. above market prices for all of these companies and then have the combined market price jump significantly without proof of earnings potential or proof of management efficiency is a bit of a stretch at this point. That is why we do not see the merger partners anywhere near the AES offering prices.
I am of the opinion that hype is just as damaging as intentional negativism.
I am also personally satisfied that AES is dedicated and sincere in it's efforts. For instance, my due diligence shows that Decision Support Systems, an AES company, has an established niche in medical IT. Optimark Data Systems is a real company with excellent experience & references that appears to desperately need partners.
So, does anyone have objective information of AES fininacials or possibly more information on AES' alcohol/drug rehab or pediatric interests? Any opinions on whether NATD (National Diagnostics) is going to look better next reported quarter? As for the internet healthcare website and having patient records secure and available via the internet, that is a great idea and one that AES has been working for some time...even before the markets internet craze. Yet AES is not the only concern in the healthcare arena working on this issue. There are many large well capitalized players feverishly working on internet information systems. Lets hope ours shines :+)
