Much of the drilling results to date were already discounted in Barrick's offer. Unless ARP is able to come up with a surprise, I see the potential for a $6.00 offer. Perhaps ARP could sell off Veladero and keep the rest of its properties.

Of course, if Barrick's offer fails, ARP will have more time to come up with new zones and thus generate further value for shareholders. Thus I think shareholders would benefit by simply NOT tendering their shares just yet.
