Sounds like a good decision, HG, and you're certainly more than welcome.

A parting, perhaps clarificatory thought: you (or someone you hire) will have to get under the hood anyway to install and configure the STB card. If you instead replaced the MB, processor, and got two regular vid cards to multi-mon, the total cost wouldn't be more than $500, and could be significantly less, vs. $300 for the STB card alone--not $1500. To be sure, it's a bit more work to swap the board, though.

You'd only be looking at $800-$1500 total expense if you bought a whole new machine from scratch.

I do NOT mean to be an advocate here; it sounds like your plan is the best one for you. This is just offered as more food for thought.

Good luck and regards,

Dave
