What's the current status of your problem? Rapidly changing. Don't mean to be a maxtor defender, If I had to guess..it is PM. PM freezes in the middle of a resize or partition copy. Then I resort to cold boot and PM can no longer act on one or more partitions. Current status Once again living on the edge..first drive unformatted..second one crippled. I am now trying to install NT to a FAT16 partition on master drive. I'll just forget about the other 15 gig:) Zeuspaul
