Cameron,

As with most all developments, the technology will take time to get to the PC market, but the value to industrial markets is tremendous and these buyers will pay the price. The Condor deal is a good example. A compact and rugged data storage system has major potential. As with most all new hardware, as production costs lower and technology gets outdated, it becomes available to PC market at low cost.

You are right. 20 years ago I had replaced my Commodore 64 with a 128K Commodore B. Bought Compaq '85/86, replaced it in '90/91 w/486, now up to 686. The new processors will make it an antique in a couple of years and I'll be unsuccessfully trying to resist upgrading again.

Lighten up? My position on SNDK has given me a bigtime grin :)

Ron
