Don't you just hate when a Short it right

what a beautiful daytrade.
I enjoyed 15 points of it
before losing my nerve. If
only CNET were always this
predictable.

on another note, some of you longs
may want to consider the following.

you've had a good run since the 20's
and I must admit it's gone on much
longer than I would have guessed, but
consider this. NBC is a media company,
it has no interest in all the computer
geek web sites that CNET is so proud of.
It wants mass appeal properties like SNAP!
and maybe some of Lycos. SNAP! was doomed,
and NBC came along and saved it, but there
is little else CNET has to offer NBC other
than maybe some of it's TV production stuff
which NBC can easilly do themselves so much
better without CNET's help. Now without NBC
speculation here, the only takers of CNET
might be one of their competitors like CMP
or ZD, just to put CNET out of it's misery.
Yes, CNET may run a bit more along with the
other internet stocks, but when the dust
clears; only the loser dates with the least
money will show up to take CNET to the prom.
