Boy what an image!

Here a couple of thoughts, let me know what you think.
1. Computing has already had a paradigm shift away from the powerful desktops, its just a matter of time (IMHO) before we all have high speed connections (T1 or equivalent)and off site storage via a network. E.g. My little brother and his wife bought a new condo in Chicago that has a T connection to their condo!!! And cable modem capabilities!
2. Oracle/Ellis is chomping a the bit to take down MS.
3. Linux is an extremely stable OS, and getting more so with each version.
4. Windows 95/98 is cumbersome and over complicated.
5. MS has already abandoned the 95/98 and NT will be their next OS.

So, once again, to Rusty and the list: HOW DO WE TAKE PUT OUR MONEY WHERE OUR MOUTHS ARE! We're all convinced that Linux has substance, so where's the play?

Just trying to provoke a brainstorm session that might produce an investment idea!

Sol

P.S. Are you buying Dell?
