I have nothing to gain by posting articles to balance this thread, or in other words show the other side of the Y2K coin.

I don't own any Y2K stocks, neither long or short.

I don't own any businesses that will benefit from my posts.

I do not consult.

The reason I do this is: Too much doom and gloom is not healthy.

For the record, I have never ever said there was no Y2K problem, and yes systems have to be complaint and the are being fixed as we speak, YES believe it or not, people are working on this problem. Some companies started tackling the Y2K problem in the early 90's.

There will be glitches in the Year 2000, but in my opinion, Y2K will just be a bump in the road of life.
