Skeeter, I will match my math ability with yours any day. The issue I raised was the source of your contention that PC revenues decreased during the year. You responded by demonstrating that Best Buy home office products declined in revenues. So what.

Then you proceeded to generate bogus revenue claims based on suspect data. So what.

Then you proceeded to demonstrate that you have no idea of what an ASP means sequentially. Even if you use midpoints, my point is correct, providing that the mean and the mode coincide. I suggest that you look at Dell's performance with respect to ASPs -- that's a much better guage than a retailer for two reasons.

First, Dell is a pure play, while the retailer includes non-computer gear in home office.

Second, Best Buy is an outlet for CPQ which had major inventory problems and needed to unload the excess somewhere. Now maybe your arguments have resonance with Fleckenstein or Lucretius Taurus, but to people who understand technology they represent the continuing misunderstanding of people who don't understand the fact that we are in nothing less than an economic revolution.

BTW, an ad hominem is an attack leveled at a person, not an argument. I never leveled a personal attack on you, nor would I.
