Look! - work the figures!!!

"The potential for the stock can be estimated by comparing MMPT to online ad leader DoubleClick, which was recently trading at 13 times annualized revenues. At half that multiple of the $43 million in revenues that I project MMPT had in 1998, it would have a market value of $280 million, about twice the market capitalization at which the offering is expected to be priced."

My Ph.D says the following: based on 1998 revenues, MMPT should have a share price of $16 (priced at) x 2 = $32 - if you draw the parallel with DCLK price to revenue valuations.

The price is actually $45.

Now, DCLK had the following revenue growth: "For the 9 months ended 9/98, revenues rose from $19.7M to $51.1M."

This shows that : the annual revenur growth of DCLK is 345%

Back to MMPT, the current price in parallel with DCLK should be $32 , but is $45. Howwever at the end of q1 1999, using the DCLK revenue growth projection, the price of MMPT should be arounf $32 x 1.86 = $59.5

So, Watch for the price to be at least the above by the end of March. Be confident by the virtue of numerical evaluations!
