Andreas, I've wondered for some time now why Intel doesn't just put an ethernet chip on the motherboard. Sun and any "respectable" workstation vendor has had them for years. The ethernet chip itself is only about $5-10, it's when you have to put it on an ISA/PCI card that the price goes up. Now with all this network stuff builtin to Win96/NT, it's more useful to me than USB or IR ports.
