YEAR 2000 WIRE/INTERMOST AGGRESSIVELY ENTERS CHINA Y2K MARKET THrough Its Tech 2020 Joint Venture

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 1999--Intermost Corporation
(OTC BB: IMOT), one of Asia's fastest growing Internet firms, today
announced extensive plans to penetrate the booming Year 2000
remediation market in China. Called Tech 2020, Intermost's joint
venture to enter the Millennium Bug market further enhances its core
businesses of: building a Chinese language Internet search engine,
expanding its China business database, which is the largest in the
world, intranet design/consulting, website hosting and E-commerce.
Tech 2020 begins in March, when Intermost will send engineers from
China to the US for Y2K remediation software training.
Andy Lin, Tech 2020's CEO and Executive Vice-President of
Intermost Corporation, will be one of the engineers to go through the
training. Lin graduated from China's foremost technological school,
Tsinghua University, and also attended a Ph.D. program in Computer
Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Mr. Lin is a recognized
expert in computer science, artificial intelligence and machine
language translation, having lectured at the Southern China Institute
of Technology. Mr. Lin also has been a project manager and senior
specialist for international computer software companies such as Wang
Laboratories and Bull Information.
Lin said, "Intermost has unprecedented access to China's Y2K
decision makers in the national government. Demand has been so great
for our services that we have just opened an office in Beijing. We
already has offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China to serve our
corporate and government clients.
