I would bet my eye teeth that the women in Jim Walter's coal mine would quit in a New York minute if they were offered a job sitting behind a word processor even it meant a $2.00 per hour cut in pay.

The only reason they are in the mine is because there are no other jobs available. Given a choice most women prefer a job where their hair stays clean and pretty and their nails stay polished.

PS, I wouldn't take the dirty job either. (unless it meant starvation)
