Zeev, Seppo "What's wrong with this picture?"

Just a small sidebar to your conversation. Yesterday morning (my Sunday) we drove to "Chinatown" in K.L. to go to a favorite local coffeeshop for some noodles. We walked the hawker stands and poked our head into an antique shop here and there. In the course of our meanderings we came upon a group of Japanese tourists. They all had bags full of stuff, and, of course, ubiquitous cameras hung from every neck.

Then, last night, boarded a plane to Singapore for an early meeting this morning. After checking in I walked to Clark's Quay to grab a bite at the local "Hooter's" and admire the waitresses. Afterwards, walking off the affects of food and eye strain, I stumbled into another group of tourists. They too had bags full of stuff. Where were they from? Russia. I know because they asked me for some directions.

I mused about those two encounters all evening.
