Jim, I do so hope that you don't need those eyeteeth! The women with whom I spoke enjoyed working in a longwall mine. The only drawback they commented on was dry hair from so many shampoos and the shock of blowing your nose after a day at the mine.

I would take the dirty job if I had to. Luckily, some levels of white-collar work pay a lot more.
