Helpful and Interesting Munch-On thread. Here's a small related contribution. Lots more munch related stories showing up all over.

The catalyst that will spark recognition of the true value of small biotechnology companies, both in the U.S. and the U.K., is unclear but there are several possibilities. First, that approvals and sales of products could increase to significantly over the next few years that the sector as a whole is re-rated.

Second, that the demands of big pharma for late-stage products to fuel their growth rates could incite a buying spree of later stage small biotechs, just for their product values.

Finally, M&A activity could consolidate the sector into fewer, larger, and more "investible" companies. The dream scenario is that all three happen, and we think to an extent all three will.
