Cheryl, that's been my position up until recently - there are so many good hi-tech stocks to pick from that I wasn't so sure about CRNR.

Now, I'm looking at CRNR very closely. The fundamentals look very good. They are holding the line on monitor revenues and growing the software business. In many ways they are a well-funded and very experienced software startup. If I had to pick a negative, it's that monitor sales are not at all like software sales, so they have had to do some learning. I believe most of that is now behind them.

They are investing in the software business, so the bottom line may not look as good at first glance. From the press release: "The growth in spending is primarily attributable to the build-up of a software sales force and marketing costs associated with the introduction of ImageAccel 3." They need a good software sales force and are obviously getting one.

Now, I've said before that I use fundamental analysis to determine which stocks to own and technical analysis to determine when to own them. I am now looking for two possibilities: either a decisive breakout above 10, (which, given the price action over the past two days, is looking less and less likely) or a pullback to the low 8's. I would be a buyer in either case. If I see the 7's I will be selling other stocks to raise the cash to buy more of this one.

P.S. Newbridge, huh? I haven't looked at that one in a long time... Good luck.
