Bob, are you saying that you think that if you use an alias, a hacker can't find out who you are behind the alias? If you are feeling a touch of paranoia, don't be niggardly with it.

Seriously, I can understand your sense of concern. On the other hand, this concern for privacy seems to be coming a bit late. Anyone on SI can read any of your public posts, you know. You never know if any of the cute aliases is someone you know.

This has happened to me twice. I have an alias and was recognized anyway. Then I learned that another person I knew very well was on SI and that we'd sparred without my knowing who it was.

If you don't care if we know who you are, care to drop us all a line letting us know of your new incarnation?
