I find it rather interesting to see li-on and lithium polymer battery mfg'rs continually touting themselves very aggressively as being the batteries for "the future". They are pressing their "future" technology every bit as as strong as fuel cells. Rather interesting, don't you think?

You hear almost no references made to the still dominant ni-cads
that control about sixty percent of the rechargeable consumer batteries after being on the market for about forty years. The only conclusion that everyone can agree upon is that ni-cads are definitely on their way out for any one of a number of different reasons. But, they have had a forty year run and still counting. We should be so lucky.

I also find it interesting that very little, if any, "future" potential of our NiMH technology is being made. And, we have a very long, long way to go before our "proven" technology peaks out.

The race continues to heat up amongst the competition, in direct proportion to the continual growth of the rechargeable battery market.
You can all draw your own conclusions on this subject. But, in my opinion, you don't have to brag if you really have something worthwhile. The facts will speak for themselves. In the end, all products will be market driven, including ours.
