<< Our hats are off to our President, William Jefferson Clinton!!! >>

Well said! I wish that I had thought to say that! <g>

I have never been so proud of our democracy and our President! President Clinton withstood a 6 year attack costing $50 million dollars, a civil trial that was backed by right wing dollars and was an obvious attack against an innocent man, and a relentless attack by the majority power in Congress. AND HE WILL WIN!

Most men would've given in by now. Most men would have not been able to stand the pressures of this unAmerican attack by a radical Republican Party and the pressures of one of the most important and stressful jobs in the world. Perhaps Clinton has sinned, perhaps he has given into sexual temptations, but noone can say that our President Clinton doesn't have backbone!

This country may never see another man with the courage of Clinton. History will show that President Clinton screwed up, but he rose above an almost crippling, overwhelming attack and won. The only thing left is to see if he can make these last two years of his Presidency strong, productive years.

We'll have to see how well he does protecting Social Security and Medicare, improvements to public education, tax cuts, etc.

Our hats are off to our President, William Jefferson Clinton!!!
