You said in post # 215 you felt GT would lose focus on publishing & distributing new titles with the expenses related to the new studio eating up cash. Their line-up for "97 (see post #375) doesn't seem to show a loss of focus on P & D operations to me. In fact I should think this lineup would produce increased revenues. Since GT already has the rights to the Unreal" engine" to produce several games, wouldn't development costs for the proposed FPS's Cavedog plans to develop, be considerably reduced?? It sure would be nice if they could lure some "real" top line development talent (read: well-known FPS developers,ect.) from one of their competitors. From a marketing standpoint, "names sell games".
