Hi Bill

most of the stocks on the NYSE are in bullish mode???

you must be kidding...if 30% are above their "200dma", what the hell are the other 70% doing???? the 200 dma is not so high either...what about the 100-50-20-10 etc...????

as of last week...My Point & Figure indicators have "ALL" given sell signals...even the 20Bond index, it just gave a sell signal the 1st since about 2 years ago!!!!! portends higher interest rates for sure..

but Bill..the Big Boy Indicator the NYSEBP(New York Stock Exchange BULLISH PERCENT)!!!!! has just given a sell signal...it means Bill that there are many MORE stocks on SELL signals then buy signals...

this indicator was the precursor to the collapse of the markets in July thru Oct 98..20%!!!!!!!! it actually reversed down in Apr/May but gave the real sell in July, although this time it's given a sell, from a lower level than before..so the downside will less steep...

no Bill most indexs are on/or given sell signals..OEX-SPX-BKX-SOX etc..just the Oils and Gold have bottomed and are starting their runs...XAU looks great!!!!!

most sectors have reversed down as well...

so be careful out there...i can see a rally here for the next 2-3 weeks then goodbye city......

i'm headed to the Islands tomr...of course i'll have my one good eye watching with interest...

my regards, Jerry
