Scott,

I can understand your getting out; it is painful to have the stock price falling. I do hope you are able to get back in, and that CWEI's stock price does improve as earnings announcement time approaches. Earnings are scheduled to be announced in the first week of March, however CWEI will move that date up if at all possible. I will post the expected date as it becomes available.

Other items in the meantime which could effect the stock are: 1) An announcement that the seismic survey has commenced. 2) Rodman, Renshaw doesn't include the 0.16 non-cash charge CWEI took in the second quarter, while Hanifens and Paine Webber do. I sent Emails to both CWEI, and Rodman, Renshaw on this. If Rodman, Renshaw should include this in their estimate, the estimate would then go from $1.56 for fiscal year 1996, to $1.72. This would increase the consensus in Zacks. 3) I have also asked Zacks to consider deleting Morgan Keegans phony $1.15 estimate for fiscal year 1996 (Morgan Keegan obviously has not performed an analysis). If Zacks should delete Morgan Keegan's estimate, that would substantially raise Zacks consensus for the year.

I, for one, appreciate your inputs on this thread Scott.
