I guess, it is a "figure of speech"... everyone seem to relate to hell... well, there it is, one form of hell.

You know, like that Roman emperor said (forgot his name),

"To the masses, give them bread and circus" (i.e. bread and christians to the lions...) hmmm not a bad idea from the old chap, I guess) <g>

Well, I guess today is:

Give them Taco Hell and football/soccer.
