No. I was only trying to help people understand HOW additional shares outstanding could be countered.

I was talking about earnings. I think you are talking about earnings per share (.01 vs. .02). If earnings per share increase 100% after the additional share became outstanding then the price would definitely go up (unless the market had already anticipated that).

I think what you have added helps to make sure nobody is mislead.

As you know, every time I mention the competition everybody tells me to sell my stock.
