I'm not suggesting that leadership should be poll-based. In the current situation though; with so much of the facts so well known by the American people; it is clear to me that the polls in this matter do say something significant. Other times polls just follow the status quo or whatever. This hasn't been the case; everyone is surprised by the poll results. There is good reason why the polls speak so differently than pundits and reporters. In this case; the American people I think really are helping leadership by assessing things very clearly; far better than any other group in this country. That isn't to say that polls on any subject are important. Like I say; on this subject; I think they are for the unique characteristics I state.
