Don:OTOT Re: Apm Thanks for your discussion. An important subject. The silicosis of gold miners in the 1800's, the asbestos used in Naval ships and wallboard, arsenic in the Paris-green pesticides,lead paints of the early 1990's,the mercury in the latex paints of the 1970's, the DDT and the egg shell degradation. Tobacco. and now the de-forestation and ozone layer.Smog. Leaded fuels. Formaldehyde in plywood products. Wonder how we lived though all that- wash hands, clean water, whatever. Who can we trust to evaluate those things ?? You know there is valid scientific evidence 'out there'. And I hope the Web will help spread the news to the extent that companies producing health threatening products will have to bring those effects out in the open and let people make their own choices.
