You're beginning to catch on, remember "Market Segmentation"?

Celerons for home.
PIII's for business.
Xeon's for servers.

Home users may not want nor need CPU ID features, and almost as good is usually good enough.

Businesses have been begging for CPU ID features to help with inventory, etc.

Xeon's, well they just kick butt. IT doesn't usually have to worry about servers leaving the closed, locked, camera outfitted server rooms.

You can have any color you want as long as it's black. Try to envision a larger market Scumbria, as opposed to AMD's one size fits all.
