Matthew,

The Taoist in me agrees with you completely and it is my fundamental approach. "How I Stole My Mate" implies the pulling out of all the stops and even that can be quite subtle, perhaps in a Jimmy Stewart kind of way. Every situation is unique and sometimes demands a unique strategy. Not everyone has the same philosophy of love or life, and I'm interested in hearing the unique stories. I'm looking for those pivotal anecdotes which turned a tide. Whether I agree with them or not is not the issue. Like it or not, as long as we are biological, competition will always be a part of the game. I appreciate your well thought out posts.
