Lurker Here..... Just read an interesting article in the Connecticut Section of Sunday NY Times....It was primarily focused on Photronics (PLAB) but mentioned in depth about Uniphase, how it spun off and specifically mentions Ciena as a major supplier to Uniphase. Is this commonly known? Been long CIEN since Nov, my apologies if this info is common knowledge Been long UNPH since July, thats an awesome company and would love to see CIEN merge with JDS-Uniphase over any other potential suitor. However, I believe the best route for CIEN is to stay indy. The telecom sector should boom next 2/3 years and I believe within that timeframe Cien could reach new highs..... IMHO, Craig
