Choppiness in the markets can typically indicate a number of different things, and I think indecision is probably at the top of the list, or near the top. Volatility would represent indecision more than choppiness, although the choppiness we've been seeing in recent weeks has also been volatile. Choppiness without volatility would then be a trading range and we've had a narrow trading range for about a month now.

There could also be a redistribution, or changing of hands, of those stocks, especially with the higher volume we've been seeing. I take this whole scenario as a negative sign for the markets.

My Best.
