King Hussein's death may be the end of Middle East stability.

He was the bridge between Israel and Palestine. With the King dead, there is an enormous power vacuum created that someone is going to fill.

A very Arab-saavy friend of mine is betting that Arafat will be first in there to stir things up. And if that happens, it is not a long series of steps until you create a valid case for either a restricted flow of oil or another embargo.

Also helps to keep in mind we do not need a real big increase in oil prices. Global's CEO would rather have a slow increase in prices to the $15.00/BBL level by next year. That would translate into $2.00/share for GLM shares, and (I suggest) a stock price of about $30-35.00.

These things take time, but a slow and steady increase from $8.00 to $50.00 over the next three years is not going to cause me a lot of grief.

The large and unexpected bursts in oil prices do not help anyone but the traders.
