Elmer - that sounds right - I guess that if Barrick keeps extending the offer it postpones the need to disclose. I guess, too, that it's understood that if it increases the offer the people who have already tendered will get the new price. The tantalising thing (from what you say) is that Barrick will have no hint as to how many, if any, have been tendered - which makes it a poker game on this aspect among others. I wonder if the exchange would notify them if 51% had been tendered? Presumably, because it would fulfil the condition of the offer? dd
