I think anyone who's complaining here of websites going down and them losing money are losers, the fact is the site could have been up, they would hae put in their order and they could have lost some money on their trade too, shit happens man, live and learn, be smart, online brokers are a boon to individual investors, you couldn't get these kinds of commisions a few years ago, so what are you complaining about ? you get what you pay for.. its a new technology, it will improve as time goes by, till then use what you have to your advantage instead of whining... or move over to Merill lynch
and here's a funny story, I dont know how many of you watched CNBC Friday, but they show this guy who was an AMTD customer, opened up an account a year ago, invested heavily on margin on all internet stocks, said it was his college money for medical school, after 6 months in the October crash, he had margin calls, and finally he lost everything he had; he's suing AMTD for his own stupidity...
what a moron!! Kernan had it right on, when he asked, would he have rewarded AMTD on the other hand if he had converted his 30 grand to 200 grand ??
he's an idiot to lose his money, but a bigger one to file a lawsuit about it.
