BATON ROUGE, LA. (Feb. 8) BUSINESS WIRE -Feb. 8, 1999--Internet Media
Corporation (OTC BB: USRF) (pronounced "you surf") announced today that
its subsidiary, CyberHighway, Inc., had added a CyberHighway affiliate
in Winnemucca, NV. The affiliate will immediately begin to add
customers to the CyberHighway system.

"We are pleased to add this new affiliate, and we expect to continue
to add affiliates, especially now that we are able to offer Internet
Media's breakthrough Wireless Internet access system," said Bill
Basham, Internet Media Chief Operating Officer. "We definitely expect
this and future new affiliates to allow us to continue CyberHighway's
growth, footprint and subscriber. Our business is all about gaining
customers, and we are continuing our vigorous pursuit of new
customers," Basham continued.

When ask for comment, Brad Rathbun, President of CyberHighway of
Northern Nevada, stated, "I am very excited about our expansion into
Winnemucca, a neighboring city to our existing location in Elko.
CyberHighway has made it easy for us to expand into new markets and
bring the same quality Internet Services to other areas that our Elko
customers currently enjoy. At this rate, CyberHighway will be helping
us to expand into another area within a year. CyberHighway's along with
Internet Media Corp. will give us the competitive edge we need to
provide Wireless Internet access to our Elko and Winnemucca customers.
We already have superior Internet Services compared to the competition
and the addition of Wireless Services will only serve to further
dominate our market area."

In expanding on Basham point, Internet Media's President, David
Loflin, stated, "Our strategy of adding affiliates throughout the U.S.
will permit us to achieve our goal of becoming a National wireless and
dial-up ISP with a local presence, as well as maximize our capability
for deploying a unique E-commerce model which will allow us to compete
with established e-commerce companies."

and through licensees, to residential and business customers in each of
its more than 80 markets, this should allow the Internet Media ISP
concept to compete successfully with national ISPs, like America Online

ELNK - news), Verio (Nasdaq: VRIO - news), AT&T (NYSE: T - news) and
