Venneri has produced recordings for various artists and bands, such as Bob Marley, Sammy Davis Jr., Jethro Tull, Grateful Dead, Cher, Willie Nelson and others. As a result, he owned the rights to about 5,000 master recordings. He is an accomplished restoration engineer and his contacts in the recordings industry helped them to buy rights to an additional 10,000 master recordings, bringing the collection to more than 15,000 songs.
The other two founders of the company are Wallace M. Giakas the company's chairman, who was president of Chapman, Spira & Carson, Inc., a private Wall Street investment firm and John S. Arnone the company's president and chief executive officer, who was a director at the same firm.
