ANSWERS REGARDING PRESS COVERAGE QUESTIONS
Good morning to you all. In response to your questions regarding the lack of press coverage, we forwarded these questions to Valu-net's Public Relations representatives and have now received the following response. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Good Morning,
I have received the email question that your office has sent, I hope the following provides a suitable answer. Dealing with the press is not as simple as taking an advertisement out in the newspaper, publications have timelines and editorial schedules to factor into the news they cover. Timing of their articles are not dictated by the investor community.
I can tell you that the response from the media has been tremendous, over the next few weeks you will find number of significant articles on the eMerge Alliance.
Our National Papers (Globe, Post, Sun Corp.) have chosen to write more extensive articles on the alliance rather than dismissing this as a "blip" on the radar screens of the business press. Look for full feature stories in the Globe, the Post and the Star. The journalists that I have spoken with clearly recognize the significance of this announcement and wish to adequately prepare a well-rounded story rather than a news brief.
Similarily, every publishing house (LTI, Plesman, Maclean-Hunter and the Publishing House) in the Canadian technology trade press have conducted interviews and this initiative has been very well received. The trade press typically have lead times of 2 weeks to 1 month before we see the articles in print. Industry analysts on both sides of the border have been briefed and all provide a solid foundation of endorsement. You will also note the involvement of Citibank has attracted a number of U.S. journals to follow this story - look for upcoming articles in both ComputerWorld and Wired News.
Regards,
Brad Friesen GENERATORIDEAWORKS ---------------------------------------------------------------------
We would like to thank all investors for their questions and trust the above response to be satisfactory. We look forward to any number of feature articles and will be sure to post them as the appear.
Have a great day.
