Good morning Apratim:

I went to bed right after that post. Still under the weather. My niece showed up at the SB party with boy she just met. Where on earth did she find him. I swear she needs glasses and a sense of smell. He gobbled food like there is no tomorrow, and he hates a four letter word: SOAP. He coughed all the time while downing Bud every time that that lizzard commercial is shown. Four days later I got the bug, again. Wondering how I got it until my brother-in-law who also is down with the flu reminded me of that boy. LOL :-(

The virtual shares are CSCO. If I answered last night, my answer is fine. Today my net has decreased due to Ralph's perception of the market. I am still short big time of Dell puts (Dell 100). There is one thing that I feel we don't have to do: hold it to maturity and let them expire worthless. For example: I was short Feb Dell80 puts. I covered ten days ago at 7/8 instead of letting it expire worthless for that extra 7/8. By buying it back, I free up my margin, and use that to short Mar 100 put at 9 5/8 (more premium to bring in). When Dell announce 2/16 earnings, that Mar100 puts should be worth less than ( 9 5/8 minus 7/8), which means I will be ahead compared to sticking for that extra 7/8. I am confident that Dell will be way above 100 come earnings day.

I think Don Martini will agree with me in this.

Just read Bob Craig's posting, especially in that TRADING section:
