Bill, you can do as you asked but will need to do additional paperwork as the UltimateTrader requires additional disclosure such as exchange agreements. This is a month by month service so can be "notched back" by requesting a downgrade. The implied difference between a DPS connection and an Internet connection is one of reliability rather than speed. The Internet is very reliable these days and the vast majority of our clients connect to us by this method. An additional phone line is not necessary and you can run a couple of other functions such as chat room and www access. But it is a good idea to have two lines so at least you can make a phone call if need be without disconnecting your system. As long as you have a solid Internet Service Provider, cable would be a good choice. We have an extensive short list, and do not currently restrict margin on Internet stocks intraday, although there is now a 50%requirement overnight as opposed to the normal 25%. EGRP, SIEB and JBOH are not shortable today, but you would be very lucky to find inventory in these stocks anywhere at the moment given the current market conditions in these stocks.
