Headley's got some longer-term favorites as well. One is Novell (NOVL), which he notes will be reporting earnings soon, after two quarters of positive-earnings surprises. "If you're going to buy options here, we would tend to buy more time on Novel, like buying the January 2000 17 1/2 Calls (LNOAW)." He says the monthly chart shows an acceleration potential not seen in Novell since back in early 1991.
