News from Winspear:
They are looking into putting pictures of our diamonds on the website. They will include the big chunkers, the greater than one carat chunkers, the little ones, and the colored ones too.
They also realize they have had problems with the way they have been reporting their results in the past. They are working to correct that, and to give a more timely flow of information, as it becomes available. As has been said by many reputable people on this thread, including Sudhir Khanna, George Tromp, Walt, John Kaiser and others: they are on a learning curve. It is not the normal kind of kimberlite pipe deposit, in shape, or diamond composition. They make mistakes like everyone else, and when they become aware of them, they work to correct them.
Expect the bulk sample results to start mid- April or later depending on weather conditions. Expect the stepout holes to be released as they become available. They need to get a certain amount of material to ship and process at cost effective rates. It's cheaper to do many samples together than a few at a time.
You got questions? Phone them and ask nicely. The more of us that phone, the faster you will get what you want. They are receptive to the concerns of their shareholders.
They will be at the Prospectors & Developers Association convention in Toronto, March 14-17, so those in the area should get off you duffs and go and see their booth. Their geologists will be there to answer your questions, and they have a great picture of what they think the kimberlite dykes coming off the feeder pipe look like. Obviously, with more drilling, that picture will be enhanced.
